Dr. S. M. Bhatti, owner and founder of Bhatti Eye Clinic is a medical Graduate and Postgraduate of Christian Medical College Ludhiana. After finishing his master’s degree in Ophthalmology, he joined the Department of Ophthalmology as Assistant Professor and subsequently became Professor and Head of the same department. He also worked as Professor and Head Department of Ophthalmology at Melaka Medical College, Melaka, Malaysia for one year.

He served as Principal/Dean of Christian Medical College Ludhiana from September 2009 to September 2014. As academic head of Medical College he was instrumental in starting 4 postgraduate Degree programs, 3 super specialty programs and for increasing seats in already running courses like MBBS, MD and DM.

Dr. Bhatti is a well-known eye surgeon, respected and adored by his colleagues, students, patients and their relatives for his surgical skills, virtuosity and affability. He has performed more than One Lakh eye operations, which include, phacoemulsification, squints, glaucoma and oculoplastic operations.
